I'm sending 5 snippets to J. Larry today for conversion. Here's what's in them, in case others want to avoid duplication: 1. MOTM-300 tight unison sawtooths playing a Rush riff. Yeah I know it's clichesville, but people still want to know how ballsy it's gonna sound. BTW, the MOTM 300s sounded remarkably similar to a Minimoog on this cut. 2. MOTM-300 sync drone, master drones while slave is connected to kbd CV and pitchbend, so overtones can be "played". 3. MOTM-300 linear and exp FM examples. VCO2 runs through VCA into FM1 on VCO1, so the modulation amount can be voltage controlled. Three notes with lin FM sweeps, then the same 3 notes with the switch thrown to Exp. 4. E drums using MOTM-300 sines and pitch envelopes, noise burst for "snare", super fast pitch swept sine for the "crack" sound, etc. - the classic way you synthesize a drum. Could have used a filter to tune the noise better, but it turned out OK. 5. Alesis HR-15 through a MOTM-120 in cross mode, MOTM-300 into input B. Rude and nasty! Dave Bradley Principal Software Engineer Engineering Animation, Inc. daveb@... > a) joe_p has sent 3 MP3 files of MOTM noodling. The glove has been thrown > down! > Rumor has it the "The Rocket" has ordered 2000 patch cords.
