>I'm going to be doing a live PA (even though i promised myself "never
again!")
hello all
the infamous "never again" strikes, whenever there are gigs to be done,
hangovers to be had , and crazy girls to be pulled, "never again" is watching,
waiting...
anyway, so i did an MOTM based gig the other month, so my sum knowledege is
thus:
1) try to assign certain modules to certain dedicated
functions - eg, i left my 410 filter with stereo spread alone on one fx send
with a korg envelope follower modulating it
2) another dead useful application of the #700 router -
on another fx send i had the "main" modular running into the #700, here (without
automating it) i could easily switch the signal patch over from 420 to 440
filter & vice versa
3) make use of the multiple inputs on filters - again for
extra flexibility i patched external audio to input 1, vcos to input 2, noise
etc input 3
that's it really, hope that gives you an idea or two...
fortunately, with my new finest quality MDF case painted black, it's just
too heavy to lug up the stairs - so never again for me means that i'll not be
giging it until i've built a small portable rig (ohbloodyhell...)meanwhile, i
just built a chaos oscillator from a circuit diagram on the web - great, now i
have a MOTM module that sounds like my Eventide Harmoniser before i had it fixed
- ho hum...
cheers
