If I was home for more than five days a month I would own a pair
of the Totem Arros. They have a very smooth and natural soundstage.
Anything acoustic or jazz or folk sounds tremendous. Genesis,
Peter Gabriel, etc also sound pretty good on them, but I wouldn't
recommend them for alternative rock or industrial music. They
sound great in small to medium size rooms although I'm not sure
they have enough volume to work in large family rooms. They suck
up the juice so you'll need a strong amp.

I personally own a pair of PSBs and a smaller set of Mordaunt-Shorts.
The PSBs are great for rock and roll albeit a little boomy in
the low end if placement is not considered. The Mordaunt-Shorts
are nice all around but not as detailed as the Totems. The PSBs
definitely have an edge of the M-Ss in the low end, but the M-Ss'
lowend is tight and controlled down to the cutoff. I used to
mix on the PSBs, and the slight boominess actually helped me tighten
up my mixes. The one mix I did on the M-Ss had a slightly heavy
lowend as the M-Ss roll off gently under 50Hz or so. But I have
Mackie HR824s now so those points are null.
