Ivan, My latest trick for long flight amusment is to get some noise-cancelling headphones (Sennheiser and others make some good ones) and run a copy of ReBirth-338 on my laptop. It doesn't provide the same kind of release as soldering but it passes the time in a musically related way and you can take the tracks back to your studio afterwards. It certainly gets some curious looks from the passengers in the neighboring seats ;) Another alternative would be to play around with a software synth like VAZ or Reaktor. Yes, it isn't analog but in the audio environment of a noisy plane it may not be bad and you can practice your "modular chops" Eric > Which leads me to thinking... wouldn't assembling a MOTM be the perfect thing > for those long boring flights?
