Re: [motm] Moog/MOTM Cabinet

Thanks. No, I wasn't planning a back for the cabinet at the moment. Right now it
is sitting pretty close to a wall in the middle of a "stack" with no air vents
nearby so dust accumulation should be minimal. The depth of the box at about 10"
also provides a pretty good overhang over the modules.

If I do put a back on it, I will probably use some thin "Masonite" and put holes
around the PS. If the PS wasn't so close to the back, I would go even simpler and
tack some fabric, like chinz (sp) on the back. I had been planning to do that for a
20" deep rack that has held my modules for about 10 months now but I noticed that
there was almost no dust on the modules in that amount of time. If the modules had
been lower in the rack, perhaps that would have made a difference. I find that
horizontal surfaces and stuff near the floor gets dusty in my studio. The other
items stay fairly clean with little cleaning.

BTW, I forgot to thank you Larry, for providing the wire I used! It was great stuff
and very easy to work with for the PS distribution.

Thanks,
    Eric
