-----Original Message----- From: Cary Roberts [mailto:cary.roberts@...] Some businesses do not require a presence on the net to be sustain a healthy customer base. I think Rex's business is one of them. ----- Original Message ----- From: Tkacs, Ken <ken.tkacs@...> I respectfully disagree with this. Before I discovered MOTM, I scoured the Internet looking for Serge info. It wasn't there. I found only sites of users with photos saying "look at all the money I spent!!" I can see both sides of this. I certainly agree that net presence is not a requirement of business today. Some products with a niche appeal (like modular) could do fine with not much more than word of mouth. The question is where would Serge be with a web site. My guess is about the same place. Those of us interested found out what we wanterd without it. However.... I find it entertaining that all 3 addresses, motm.com , motm.net , and motm.org , are sites relating to musical stuff. However, I think motm.com is pornographic since it depicts those who have f**ked many musicians out of decent paying gigs by simply playing other people recorded music. Don't get me wrong. I'm not down on DJs. They have a place as part of certain music styles and on the radio. BUT, instead of live entertainment. No thanks.
