Related to the joystick thread,  I helped a friend out w/an interview
for "Sound on Sound" magazine a few years ago, (it was with a genius
designer/constructor fellow called Ron Berry - he had build a physical
modelling synthesiser in the analogue modular domain - he did this YEARS
ago - impressive, eh?) anyway, his keyboard controller had a very cool
joystick - it had a *knob* on the top, with a shaft running down to a
pot underneath it!  Of course I asked where he's got it from, but it
turned out he'd made it himself.  ultra-hardcore constructors take note
- if you are able to do this, you will have a *three-axis* controller,
which also looks great!  (you will also have at least 1 customer if you
decide to produce them ;)  )
