Normally I won't post this here, but the last organ I mentioned on this list caused one list member to buy one and have it shipped over from the UK. So here it is: I was considering buying a used Yamaha EX-1 Electone organ which is a kind of GX-1 derivative, but I just don't feel going throught the hassle of trying to get the thing shipped across the US, trying to get a good description of a couple of problems it has and he last organ I bought is taking up far more room than I had imagined. The EX-1 is rare (someone said only about 30 shipped to the US) and it originally sold for over $30,000. So assuming it is still available, I am passing the info onto this list incase anyone else wants to grab it. Here is info from the ad. It is located in Ecninitas California. The contact is Bob Polselli, and his e-mail address is (bobpolselli@...). The price was $2000 obo. The ad said that a few buttons didn't work because they needed cleaning and that there was something wrong with the speakers. Physical condition is virtually perfect. I wrote to Bob Polselli asking for more info on what was wrong with the speakers and if he knew for sure whether some buttons only needed cleaning. Turns out he is not the owner of the organ (I guess owner doesn't have e-mail). The speakers were in a different place than the organ and couldn't be brought together until after halloween. I haven't contacted him since. You take it up from this point on. If anybody is going to act on this, let me know. Otherwise I will let the Electone Forum know, because there have been a couple of people in the past looking for an EX-1.
