Good point. Fancy finished usually need to be "baked' on to hold well. Or
coated in a heavy layer of sealer, which changes it.

Be careful with the textured paint. It tends to crack and break off in 
chunks if not applied and taken care of correctly. I painted a primered 
metal panel with this stuff once and the paint eventually started to chip 
off. Just my experience
