hello all,

i don't think there are any specific rimshot sounds, but there's a great
little article called "creating analogue drum sounds with monosynths" at
www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~concuss/drums.htm (the analogue solutions
website) it's got most of the basic for creating drums from scratch

hurray - my motm is finally earning me some money - albeit \ufffd15 for an hours
work (it'll take a while to pay for itself), a local dj wanted to sample
some "dirty bass sounds" for his drum & bass project - so after an hour of
55Hz tones, i'm seeing stars, feeling sick, dizzy, and now i'm on an
infrasonic come-down
not done that to myself for a while...
