OT: Key to using Blacets website to order Miniwaves

OT: Key to using Blacets website to order Miniwaves

2001-06-01 by moog@buffalo.com

After a kind stooge gave me few tips i finally got Johns site to take my order.
**Commentary, It should not be this hard to take someones money! : )

The key is using Windows explorer and having cookies turned on. Will not work
without cookies on, and does not like netscape on my mac.

John , perhaps you should make note of this somewhere ?

This is news to me; works fine on my mac/netscape.

Perhaps the key is "cookies on". A lot of sites rely on this function!
Some folks are paranoid about this function and forget they turned it
off.

The store has generated less than a dozen complaints about "can't order"
since Nov 99.

There may be some other issues also related to something else. I keep my
cookies ON these days, and I had an issue with the no response from the
webserver when trying to "complete" the order. However, when I tried at a
later time without making any changes at my end, it worked fine. So,
cookies is not the only reason.
