Example of case power supply

Example of case power supply

2001-07-06 by J. Larry Hendry

Chuck McQuillan sent me this photo of his case mounted power supply. So, I
added a page to the "MOTM Users Corner" at my web site with the little bit
on information I have on it right now. If you are interested in the
details, bug Chuck for a description to the list and I will copy the text
over to the web page.

Nice job, Chuck! I also have been promising a few people to show how
my synth was wired up, so I have just posted a few new images of the
Synth of Doom, but this time from the rear showing the power
distribution terminal blocks, etc. It's not enclosed like Chuck's,
but basically the open frame ps mounted upside down, terminated to a
rear-mounted panel. No links from any Hot Rod Shop pages yet, but it
follows the full star system mentioned on my power distribution page.
Anyway, here 'tis:

Very nice work... clean layout, nice cable wrapping.

Question: What is the EDAC connector used for?

EDAC connectors rock, BTW!

It connects an input snake from an external Encore Expressionist

to my breakout panel.
