Sorry to hear you have to get rid of your Wiard, but it will be 
easier supporting one bad habit instead of two<g>.

I wonder if you would care to give a comparison between the two 
systems in terms of sound, features, ergonomics, build quality, etc.

Ah, that's not exactly fair. I have both (MOTM and Wiard), and although I would gladly take a MOTM rig over much of my other gear, the Wiard is truly special. But it expands in a different way than MOTM - the Wiard modules are larger, more expensive and have about 5x to 6x the functionality of a 'typical' MOTM module. Again, I'm not knocking MOTM by any means, just pointing out that the two are quite different so it's not reasonable to assume that because someone has opted to sell one, it's somehow inferior to MOTM.
I'll be glad to post some thoughts later on sound, features, etc. if anyone's interested.
