Help My Sick Little LFO

2001-07-18 by dowk@earthlink.net

Hey all,
This is my first post! Yippee!

I have a problem. My LFO is sick. The module doesn't modulate anything
anynmore, and the light doesn't flash it just stays the same color. It
was working fine, and I have gone over any meager looking solder joints
to see if that would clear it up. It had this same problem when I first
finished the kit, but going over solder joints fixed it that time. Any
thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help.

YIKES!

That means the -15V or +15V supply is *SHORTED*! I bet NONE of the modules
work, either!!!!

Unplug power cable, ched DC resistance on the power connector for GND to -
and GND to +. Should not be under 1K.

Paul S.

hello all,
and welcome to the list Dow,
you know, bar all the technical stuff you ought to check - make sure you
don't have the "shape" control at either extremity of it's travel - that's
fooled me more than once

I had the same problem which was (in my case) actually a short in the power
cable, once i got a new power cable from paul, all worked well.
