Power Cable

2001-08-12 by Mike Marsh

Hey All -

Does anybody have a SKU for the cable Paul uses for the power
cables? I see Belden 18 gauge and some numbers that I can't match on
Mouser.com. Also the white cable seems unmarked. Help would be
appreciated!

I don't think there is a SKU. I have my cables assembled.

The numbers on the wire are the UL/CSA flammability rating: 1007/1569. This
means:

"300V rated, 80C temp, PVC insulated"

I use Alpha type 3055 (18ga) for runs <30" and Alpha type 3057 (16ga) for
>30". I buy from Allied or Newark.

prototyping the PS/RR 'secret module' today :)

PPS: Robert send my 'official' Bestairy CD. Man, the cover is so cool! He's
trying to get posters made.
