A !

Lets think here.. A pedal is basically for controlling a parameter(s) of
the synth with your foot. Why do we need gate or trig at all? Perhaps for
using a pedal as a separate controller, but 99% of the time, a pedal will be
used for simply turninig knobs with your feet. 99%!!!! Having it be a dual
would be great too..
Wouldn't you guys rather have access to two foot pedals with one module?
Think about playing a keyboard (gasp!) and using your feet to sweep some
parameters, like pedals are supposed to do........ Design A!!!!
Perhaps you could have a compromise. Have one pedal as an expression pedal,
and the other as a sustain/switch/trig/gate kind of interface..
Dual is great for more control. Trigs, LED's, CV mixes.. blah blah..
KISP! (keep it simple Paul)
Not that I want boring plain modules, but I think the basic dual pedal
functionality outweighs having a gate or CV mix out....

my opinion ...

It also seemed to me that the A module would be easily able to interface
an x-y joystick.

Are there any plans for a footSWITCH interface? In other words, one
that would output a gate (and possibly trigger) when a footswitch
plugged into it is depressed (this is what I was inquiring about in
yesterday's email that was intended for the list but not sent to
it). This would also work as a S-trig to V-trig converter, if anyone
is using their Moog as a keyboard controller.
