SuperMoe strikes again

SuperMoe strikes again

2001-10-27 by mate_stubb@yahoo.com

All,

If you are not interested in my sequencer designs, read no further...

In my never-ending quest to make SuperMoe the MOOPS (Mother of All
Pattern Sequencers), I'm designing a new module.

I've decided to replace the 8-position address generator. It was very
flexible through the use of patchcords, but didn't do much for the
person who likes to play with modifying the sequence live as it plays.

The new module is expanded to 16-positions (4 bits), and contains a
rotary function switch for each position. The switch behaviors can
still be overridden with a complete set of patch points.

As usual, I'm now taking up even more panel space than ever. You
won't see elaborate gate and trigger outputs on this module, because
there just isn't enough space. That's a separate addressable module
controlled by this one.

If you aren't familiar with SuperMoe, you'll ask "where's the
stinkin' pots?" See the links below. More info later.

Thanks to Ken E. for the pics, and to my increasing familiarity with
CorelDraw, here's a new version with spiffy pointer knobs, which I
intend to actually use when I build it:

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
