h3y all,
so, i understand how a ring mod can be used as a VCA, but can you use 
the 110 VCA as a ring mod??  feelin' a little too inept to tell 
whether or not it's actually ring moddin' my 2 inputs or if it just 
sounds similar to my ears...

A VCA does 2 quadrant multiplication whereas a ring mod does 4 
quadrant multiplication. So they aren't the same thing but they can 
sound similar depending on the inputs.
