Read the fine print about 3/4th of the way down. These are PHOTOSHOP MODELS
only...

900UKP is around $1300. Since it's MIDI, you can compare it to
Sonar (or similar) with which you can get as many channels as your
computer has power. I don't see the point.

Yet another *very* interesting sequencer (probably known to some of
you, but anyhow): http://www.technotoys.com/mikado/
Looking forward to the prototype!

The point is that a hardware step sequencer invites and facilitates
different modes of interaction and approaches to composition and performance
than a software sequencer does. They're different tools, in short.

Do you see the point in hardware synthesizers, or do you prefer to use
virtual ones as well? You can technically do so much more with a computer
than with an analog synth, but that isn't the point. It's all about the
interface.

I happily don't own a single virtual synthesizer! I love the interaction I
can have with a physical piece of equipment.

Yes, I could see that from the photos. However I am impressed with the
detail when you read the linked documents. It looks like it is a little more
real than most of the vaporware shown on websites.

Yeah, I see the point. I even own a few. None of them cost $1,300
and I couldn't give a hoot if it's virtual or analog or anything in
between. For me it's about making the music that I want to make.
If a Zeit sequencer does it for you, cool.

Move to quarantaine
