So, where does Paul get those lockwashers for the jacks anyway? I just ordered a bunch of Switchcraft jacks, but couldn't find a source for the lockwashers--just as Dave's page warned me. --Adam

I buy them from a local aircraft hardware supplier. These and the flat stainless steel washers go on the F-111 :) Paul S. ----- Original Message -----

Now there's a perfect opportunity to complain about the price of MOTM...it's the washers!! :)

Do you know what size the lockwashers are? I found them listed in the Mouser catalog, but they were specified in mm and it wasn't clear whether they meant inside diameter or outside. --Adam

These and the flat > stainless steel washers go on the F-111 :) This seems to be an illusive part for everyone. I have used bigger ones from Mouser and the hardware store on my jacks. But, I would love to have the smaller ones. Got all the magic busses and need a few. :) I expect your supplier has some minimum. Maybe I could buy thousands and add them to the Stooge product line so people could buy a few here and there and I could get rich (not). :). Care to share the contact info ?? Larry

That's a good question. I don't see any point in keeping it a secret. >This seems to be an illusive part for everyone. I have used bigger ones >from Mouser and the hardware store on my jacks. Also, if we knew the specs or manufacturer's part number, we might be able to get them from another source.
