Miniwave Bank 15 question

Miniwave Bank 15 question

2002-12-29 by Inform3r

I was experimenting with Bank 15 on the Miniwave today. Its really
amazing to be able to generate scales like that. However, I couldnt think of
a useful way to control it (tempo). I stuck a Sine wave into the "in" jack
but the scale would pause when the wave would dip. Are there any ways to
have the arpeggios play at a constant tempo? I saw a similar patch Grant
Richter made for the Waveform City except he didnt even need to plug a
waveform (or trigger) to start the arpeggios. Is this an exclusive feature
of the Waveform City? Without anything plugged into the "in" jack on my MW I
get silence. I'd love to hear from other MW users and what methods they use.

                    Thanks,
                    John

How about a TRI wave? -- linear up and linear down. You still have to
adjust the wave CV control to avoid pauses if the TRI wave runs outside the
control range (at the top or bottom). I guess saw up or saw down could be
used to for arpeggio in one direction only. Just speculating... :)
