NAMM photos on line

2003-01-23 by J. Larry Hendry

Well, it took me a while to get through them all, edit, compress, organize
and upload (26K connection. sigh...). But, finally, I have about 40 photos
from my NAMM experience on line. I took lots more, but limited what I put up
to mostly synth stuff and the people I met in and around the MOTM booth.
Enjoy.

Thanks for posting the picts. Just one correction though. That's Vermona gear
(not more Doepfer) in the two cases below the picture of the large Doepfer.

I was hoping there would be goofier looking people we could make fun of but I'm
not seeing anybody who looks as moronic as the "pineapple hair guy" from that
other show.

Thanks Ken. I suspected as much and put the ? in the text. I was not sure
if that was another Doepfer line or not. I don't follow their gear. I'll
get the text updated with this info. Thanks.

I hear that Saturday the day for the biggest crowd and many of those that
exist on the fringe. I stayed away Saturday and visited a friend. However,
on Friday I did see two guys with platform shoes that were at least 8" and
maybe closer to 10." They were already tall skinny guys, and that made them
tower over everyone else.

Nevermind the size of the knobs!!

I just saw the NAMM pictures (thanks Larry :) So nevermind the size
of the knobs, what the Encore Frequency Shifter needs is oscillator
outputs.

Have a look at the Frequency Shifter mockup on the Encore website, it
has oscillator outputs. The one at NAMM is the original prototype by
Chris MacDonald. I believe the mockup is closer to what we'll get
from Tony.

I'm still hoping for a mix output (with attenuators for original input, freq. down, and freq up). Please?

OK :) Sorry if I wasn't paying attention.

If you mixed up and down, wouldn't that be a ringmod??
