ahhh the joy of turning knobs...

Hi All,
;
I have just returned from a visit to "Zon World" and he has aquired his first few MOTM modules, and we we're a tweaking and twiddlin knobs for a bit and listening to the various different tonal capabilities of the 420, 440 filters... (we borrowed some) LOL... and with the exception of not having his VCA yet, it was all MOTM... and as we have both been commenting..."clean, clean, clean..." what a gorgeous thing to hear... we also happened to have one of Tony's Event Gen's there as well, and had that on a loop... set the VCA to "hold" the note, I hit a low "D" and turned knobs for about 1/2 hour !!! plugged and unplugged... ahhh what bliss...
of course we had the "must have" Tangerine Dream multi-tap echo going to liven things up... but as I was telling Zon, I have twice done a mock up order on Pauls web site... just haven't pulled the "trigger" I keep re-arranging and changing my mind. Sorry Paul... part of my dilema also is kit or assembled, since I can build and solder well... but then I have to wait to make sounds... oh the torture... !!!! arrrghhh... plus now after hearing that very cool sequencer demo, I will just HAVE to have one of those when they are done...
feeling a bit like a MAD scientest... hey maybe that's where Larry got that "LOOK" on his face.... hehehehe....
; I am feeling the need to go solder something..... (now where's my cat ???)

Ahh, yes!
Friends, Guinness and MOTM. That's a pretty good combination.
Mike Fisher let me borrow some of his MOTM filters while I was waiting for my
modules to arrive and I must say that the 420 is another "must-have" module.
(Thanks, Mike! :-)
The 420 sounds much better than the description led me to believe as I have
never been a fan of the sound of the MS20.
Tony's UEG is an endless outlet for creativity. It is so easy to create
interesting patterns on it that I could listen to it for hours.

Thanks again to Paul and Tony for making such great stuff!
