I'm presently building an indicator panel for my synth. It includes
a tuner and a 13 segment level indicator. The tuner is a hacked up
Korg tuner adapted for MOTM use, the level indicator is just a stack
of comparators. I have a 2U stooge panel coming for this. If any
one is interested I will have more info posted when I get my website
up and running in a month or 2 including schematics. Lotsa LEDs.

I've also been thinking about trying to hack a small LCD based
oscilloscope into a MOTM panel. I do have a nice scope on my bench,
but I'd like to have something built-in. I'll inform the list if I
get something happening with that idea as well.

A tuner is an excellent idea! That's something I keep switching my
eclipse to every time I need to reset the oscs to A4. I wish they had a
"bypass" switch I could flick and it would just lock them into A4 rel
1v/oct for driving with a keyboard.

Absolutely interested! just like paul was saying about using uSeq and
MOTM midi to CV, there's something to be said about having things built
in ready for action.
Let me know if you're interested in selling me a pre built version of
both the tuner and the oscilloscope.
