Halloween Proposal

Halloween Proposal

2003-09-25 by Les Mizzell

Afternoon,

I'm *not* proposing a new contest of any kind - but I thought it would
be great fun if we all grabbed our patch cords and did a composition for
Halloween.

If we keep the time limit to say - 3 minutes and everybody agrees to
encode to MP3 as the final format (not the best sounding format, I
agree, but file size is an issue), I'll be happy to host the files for a
short period.

If we get enough pieces for a CD - well, we can discuss that if it
happens....

Style? How about "Free Format Radio". Anything goes.
Rules? We don't need no stinking rules. How about we just say "The
majority of the composition has to be realized on a modular" and let it
go at that?

Warm up your OSC's!

Boy, if I can get that Digi 001 box set up in time, I might actually be
able to *make* an MP3 file :). My stuff is pretty scary alright. At least
according to my spouse.
