Free "Back In Time" concert

2004-10-28 by TJ

Hi Everybody,
Thought this might be of some intrest to the groug?
This Saturday night, my electronic/ambient/Berlin school band "Orbital
Decay"will perform a live on-air/internet concert at 1:59AM October 31.
Free for anyone to tune in on WXPN 88.5 FM, Philadelphia,PA or live on the
net.
I will be using my somewhat DIY Minimoog/MOTM and quite a few older
synths.

Here is the info from our concert site:

On October 31,2004 at 2:00AM the clocks get set back an hour. Orbital Decay
will be on-air going "Back In Time" to the late 70's with a concert
featuring the synthesizers from this time period. The piece entitled
"Analog Daze" will be played with only the older analog synthesizers.
The first segment will begin at aproximately 1:59 AM when we will "Time
Warp " for an hour long piece, and finish at about 1:58AM a minute before
we started. (Huh?) The final hour we will be playing a set with all
instruments, digital and analog, a piece composed with a Halloween mode in
mind. Here is a link to the concert site complete with some photos of the
gear we will be using:

Hopefully some will tune in and enjoy!
