last 11th hour chance for kits!

last 11th hour chance for kits!

2004-12-15 by Paul Schreiber

I have combed the kit backlog for any module (not the freebies) that can be
shipped. That is, up to but NOT including, MOTM-480s/485s.

If you think there is an outstanding order that has fallen into the Twilight
Zone, please email me NOW with the date the order was placed, any info you have.
I found a 'lost' order today, there may be another one sitting in the wrong
Inbox Folder, whatever.

If you want to order something to arrive this year, do it WEDNESDAY.

The sheet metal is supposed to leave Texas for Indiana this week, but due to
high Christmas traffic you may see your modules arrive the week in between
Christmas and New Years.

Breadboards = toast

I have about 20 orders to ship for VCOs + things like MOTM-960/power cables.
These will all ship no later than the 22nd.

This is disappointing. I was planning to get a few breadboard kits at
some point. Never thought that they would be discontinued and "gone in 60
seconds". I have a couple of DIY projects that I was hoping to breadboard
up in MOTM format. If anyone has a couple of extras to spare that you
would be willing to part with, I would be grateful, please contact me off
list.

I second that. I have upcoming plans and know I'll need some. They
sure disappeared fast. Perhaps we can get a group going to design
and do a group purchase. Interest?

MOTM breadboards

2004-12-16 by J. Larry Hendry

OK, if any of you out there are actually serious about still wanting this
breadboard, send me an email that says, "Larry, you crazy stooge, I would
probably take (fill in correct number) of these PCBs if you had them made.

IF there is sufficient interest, I will seriously consider underwriting the
production of 100. If response is poor, I'll trash the idea.

As a side note, FYI, I do have a paper copy of the trace artwork that is
absolutely fantastic for working your layouts ahead of time. An example can
be seen here. All purchasers will receive an electronic version to print
and use.
