The new yahoo web interface makes me want to blow chunks! The default
font is grey instead of black for decreased contrast. To advance
through the posts you have to hit the Previous link. The font in the
post message dialog is tiny. WTF were they thinking?

I don't think they were thinking! I was online during the changeover, it was kind of 
like watching an ugly baby being born...

I'm with you stubb.. it is horrible.  Everything is spaced out even 
farther apart for some reason and it takes tons of scrolling to get 
around where it was so simple before.  I actually left them feedback
to 
tell them how hideous it is.

I don't understand this obsession with people wanting to dress up simple text 
pages on the web.   The new look of Yahoo Groups is a good example; it was 
fine before, now let's mess it up and make it load slower!

AOL just changed their web interface so now when you go to get your mail it 
takes forever to load.   And how is this an improvement?

Get the Sage plug-in for Firefox. It lets you subscribe to the RSS
feed for Yahoo forums. 

This lets you read all the recent messages on one page, without any
advertising! Talk about quick!

If you haven't tried the Firefox/Sage combination, you owe it to
yourself to try it - the software is all free!

Looks promising but not all relevant groups are offering RSS feeds.
And if I want to read the entire message I get the normal message display anyway.
So adblock gets work again.

But Sage is nice - thanks for the pointer.

The new interface is a waste of everything (time, space, usability, ...)

I'm fed up.  Michael.
