regular update

OK, time to regroup after a VERY stressful last few days. a) I'm sorry if I offended anyone about the SMT hollering. Just be aware that I am over-protective for a reason: $$$. I'm about to commit a lot of time and $$$ on buying over $6500 of SMT parts (MIDI-CV, uSeq, Frac-Rack, etc) and I suppose the timing was off. So, let's all shrug it off and move forward. b) I am sending off to the board shop tomorrow the MOTM-995 adapter board, which does 2 things: .com modules added to MOTM systems MOTM modules added to .com systems it's ONLY for MOTM-950 supplies (or other +-15V, +5V) for powering .com as they need +5V If you want to add a MOTM to a .com power harness, just plug into the MTA-100 harness. I went ahead and designated some connectors for this (even though they are all in parallel this tends to freak out some folks). The price will be $29 assembled only and I will have them ready to ship around the 6th of Sept. If you want to order now, use PayPal, the shipping is $5/order US and $9/order foreign. The boards are about 3.5 x 4.5 inches c) About 1/3 of the sheet metal backlog will show up by this Friday so some back orders Paul H. has can go out. I will be packing up some assembled modules this week to ship out, but in some cases I have to also wait for sheet metal. d) Robert Rich's hand surgery went "OK", it's was not a 100% success. The final result will not be known for 8-10 weeks after scar tissue forms. He has an over-active "scar tissue generator" and this is the problem: the scar tissue 'sticks' to the tendons, which need to move like a cable/pulley system. The hand doctor indicated he has like 3X the normal amount. e) I still have a couple of '960s to ship out. I will get these out by Friday. I am about out but will make 25 more when the '995 gets built (uses same parts). I'll still bit depressed over Bob Moog's death, I think I will listen to Wendy's "Clockwork Orange" soundtrack (her release, not the Warner one). Paul S.
