MOTM410

2006-05-08 by Tom Adam

Howdy,

I've got this nice MOTM 410 working on line input/output levels. This
means I left out R63 (I guess).
But my system is running too big for this to be interesting ;-)
So I want to put this resistor in now, but I'm not very keen on ripping
this module apart for this one resistor.
Is it possible to solder that resistor from the top side view or is this
something "not done"?

Cheers,

PS. Does anyone know the value of that resistor by hart?

You mean R68, a 10K that cuts the input level down. You could solder it
in from the top, because the holes are plated through. Use the NO CLEAN
solder, not the organic. Cut the leads to about 1/4 inch long, bend
leads and insert the resistor, and hold it down to the board with a
piece of electrical tape while soldering.
