Power for +5V moduls

Power for +5V moduls

2006-06-25 by marcin_grzelak

Hi,
I'm not shure how to pick power supply with new +5v modules
Ordinary one adds the positive current of 15V, but what should I do
with +5v current requirement (65 to 300 mA)of motm 650?
Add this to all + 15v ?

Thanks for answer

Martin

No. The power for the +5V portion will be specified separately.

For example, a Power One HTAA-16W-A supply used in the MOTM-950 has these specs:

+5V 2A
+-15V 400ma

You *can* use a separate +5V supply with a MOTM-900 *if* you use a MOTM-990 pc
board.
