Newbie Question

2006-10-17 by Jeremy

Hi all,

(I wish I knew more about this stuff - This could be an embarassing question.)

Just wondering about the Q1 and Q2 transistors on the MOTM 800 pcb.

Do they go on the board in line with the flat side of the outline? or in line with the way the
leads come out of the part?

A little vague I know - its just that the way the leads match up to the holes is "backwards"
to the outline on the board and the shape of the transistor.

I hope this makes sense.

Any help would be great.

Thanks,

Jeremy.

Always line up the transistor to the outline of the package and the board,
not the spacing of the leads.
