heat sink compound

heat sink compound

The heat sink compound required for the 420 filter kit, does it matter
if that's silicon or non-silicon?

Also, are there any other kits that require it?  If not, then I might
just try to buy it in the little 1-gram packets instead:

I use the silicone based kind you can get a Radio Shack for quite a bit less than any of those prices. I don t think it matters if it s silicone or not. And

a) either one will work fine
b) all kits that use a TEMPCO resistor need some.
