list of modules

list of modules

2009-02-14 by Koos Fockens

Wow, what a list, I've not been a MOTM builder/user for that long, only since 2005 I
believe it was, so I still managed to get some of the MOTM 1.0 experience :-) The 2.0
version would be fun too, I just need to build up a bit of stock on common parts like
resistors etc, before I venture into that, as I don't want to chase up a list of individual
parts for each module/part kit I decide to build.

Anyway, there are modules in that list that certainly look very attractive, and I don't mind
how they will be offered, as a MOTM 2.0 kit, or as a ready build SMT module, I am still
more a synth player than a builder to be honest, although I do enjoy building them, I like
creating sounds and making music with it more.

So from that list, which modules would I be interested in at this point (completely ignoring
the fact that I have little space at this time for it at this point in time)

-MOTM-520
-MOTM-530
-MOTM-550
-MOTM-600

-MOTM-125
-MOTM-2?? dual delay
-MOTM-??? Joystick interface (even better with a nice joystick mounted on the panel :-) )
Always liked to have an EMS synthy or AKS, this would make the MOTM into one :-)

Here's the poll results from 2005 on most desired modules:

That's an idea, however I don't have any of those, have USB joysticks though, so perhaps this module should offer that instead, as these types will be readily available in computer stores etc :-) A panel mounted Joystick would be nicer aesthetically and give me that VCS3/AKS feel which I like :-)

I always liked the idea of the original MOTM joystick interface with
the PC joystick port. I've still got a few of those joysticks, just
in case!
