MOTM

hi people,

i'd like to add a patchable VU meter to my MOTM system, simple 1 in/1 out. 
is it as easy as buying a small meter (not the whole multimeter, just the 
needle display), modding it to power off +/-15 v, and adding a couple of 
jacks ? does anyone have any tips on doing this?

You should use a meter buffer circuit to do this.  You might check out the
