John,

Simple question; are you a keyboard player or a "synthesist"?  If you are a keyboard
player, you will miss the ability to play chords.  If you don't really play
keyboards (it sounds like you don't by the use of the D-Beams as MIDI controllers),
you might be ready for some fun!  However, be prepared to "think laterally" and push
yourself to be creative with what will, at times, seem like a very limited set of
tools.

hello all,
writing from the UK, i've no idea where to get them, although for the brave
at heart i did drag some schematics off the internet. unfortunately they've
no url attached to them, but they were copied by Marjan Urekar (if that
helps) over in Eastern Europe. the schematics are incomplete, and i've no
way of telling - without building one - whether the output described is in
fact a "CV"
if anyone is interested i'll try and track down the url (it may be at work)
