Lots of questions

Lots of questions

2000-05-02 by Nathan Hunsicker

Hi all, does anyone remember the est. street date for the 820 Lag? Also
when is the 101 going to be available, what are the differences between the
100 & 101, is it worth waiting, or should I buy a 100 now?

Also:

A public opinion question...

I've been having a dilemma lately trying to figure out which style of
cabinet I should build. One major requirement I want is to mount my Encore
Expressionist (19"x1U) in the cabinet. This limitation originally sent me
iin the direction of a 19" cabinet (a nicer looking 21 space 19" rack)
although, since my module count is growing rapidly (and with the
anouncement of the flat rails being produced) I'd rather see my MOTM in a
"moog" style (18U or wider) cabinet. My dilemma is where should I mount the
Expressionist? I've considered dissecting the Expressionist front panel and
transferring it to a MOTM 3U panel, but I doubt I'd be able to make the LCD
screen look nice enough through the aluminum panel. The rear jacks al ready
go to a breakout MOTM panel. Any sugesstions? -Nate

If you plan lots of modules, you either have to go for lots o racks, or a
wider wood cab format.

I'm making a breakout panel for my Expressionist in the wood cab, with a
snake to a rack next to it for Expressionist, MX-8 midi processor, and misc
rack mounted accessories like effects.
