For the little DIYer kid in all of you, go to Rat Shack and pick up
a small proto board and a few opamps.  TL082s, JRC4560, or whatever
you have laying around will work.  A few 10k and 100k resistors and
a little solder and you'll have a preamp with 10x gain, just about
right for keyboard line outs.   You can get two gain stages out of
each TL082 or 4560.
