My suggestion is to scan all the pages, and put them up on some site
somewhere about a week after you sell it.

But I bet you could stir up quite a fuss if you pinged AH about it.

BTW, there was a post on the diy list a few days ago from Jeff Dec who always
has some great old EM books for sale, he listed about 25 books this time. I
bought a BRAND NEW copy of Hal Chamberlin's Musical Applications for
Microprocessors (most recent edition -- I think the 2nd published in around
1985) for I think $50-$60 including shipping. Well worth it to me. He
apparently has a box or two of unsold stock. I also noticed he had a first
edition of Alan Strange's book Electronic Music (for like $30 -- way over
priced IMO). If anyone is interested finding out more let me know and I'll
forward some information.

john,
i have a first edition of hal`s book that i`ve about read to death. heresy it
may be, but i go from one extreme to the other. i love analog modulars and
i`d love to get a simple software synthesis system running. theres a freeware
program for the amiga`s called "csound" thats supposed to be pretty good. i
know theres a very developed version out for pc`s, too but my pc is even more
primitive in some ways than my amiga`s. betwwen those extreme`s, though, i
was never very captivated by kybd. poly synths, digital or analog or
minisynths, etc. i have a casio cz101 that i keep around for midi and a
"miracle kybd" which while completely preset has some nice organs and such
but that i`m mainly eyeing as a midi controller for my modular as it has
velocity sensing.
best,
dave v.

john,
just so my simple mind is clear on this - "ah" might be a good place to post
the magazins as "for sale" ?
thanks for the suggestion !
best,
dave
