[motm] More MP3's (spacin')

Hi Everybody, Just came up with an interesting sequence/patch on my MOTM last night, and thought I would share it. My MOTM consist of a modified Minimoog. On this patch I am using the MOTM 100, 110,120,410,420, 800, and a 16 step multi row sequencer. The sequencer is transposed via an one octave set of foot pedals. The basic seq. row1 is 4 notes fed into the Mini oscillators and triggering the onboard EG's to the VCF, VCA. The Mini osc. are set to 4', 8', 32' . The filter is set with a short 500ms. decay and is otherwise closed. On every sequence step, a pulse is sent to the 100 S&H clock in, and the output is routed to the Mini filter. Giving the filter a nice random pattern. The direct output of osc.1 is driving the 120, and all outputs are set at 4. The out of the 120 is routed to the 110 vca, which is controlled by a row 2 of 16 CV's set to make a rhythmic pattern. this out is then fed into the Mini ext input.(sounds huge, the overload light flashes to the rhythm). The output of the Mini is fed into the 420 set at highpass. Frequency set at 1, res set at 4. FM 1 input is set at +1 and is controlled by row 3 of the seq. which has 16 varying CV's, and steps through randomly. (subtle, but adds to the mix). FM2 of the 420 is set at 10 and is controlled by the + 800. The 800 is set with decay at 1.5 and is controlled by the gate from the seq. This gives the 420 a nice sharp plunk sound. Finally this is all sent to the input of the 410, which is set in dual mode, and a nice slow sweep, mixed output is set at half. All of this with the foot pedal transposing the sequence gives me two hands free to play a sloppy lead over top. http://www.geocities.com/orbitaldecay_99/motmseq1.mp3 (this thing rocks) Latter, Terry
