mp3s at last..?

mp3s at last..?

2000-08-14 by sikorsky

hello all,

you may remember a week ago i alerted the list to my updated website, well
now i've finally got it working, and have my own domain www.pasc.co.uk there
are some MP3s to download, unfortunately it's all pre-motm apart from
"Shapes In Dark Static" which you can find at www.pasc.syol.com/static.mp3
as i'm doing it on the cheap, this is on a different server to the rest of
the site (which is www.pasc.co.uk)
for those of you who'd love to know, i don't remember much about the patch -
the drums came from a Roland R5 and were pretty lack-lustre (being drunk,
and recording the wrong song helped though) so went through Oakley's
Wavefolder for starters, the static came courtesy of the motm #100 through a
Urei 565 filter, gated through the #700. the bass guitar was probably put
through the #440 (or it may have been the #420) modulated by a Korg MS03
envelope follower, and the lead line is pure MOTM based on experiments i
made after a little onlist traffic on getting envelopes to synthesise koto
type instruments

anyway, there's the beginings of a motm dedicated page -
www.pasc.co.uk/modular.html so i'd love any motm based links you chaps might
have to stick in there, whether its diy stuff, mp3s, or stuff like Ken's
useful little spreadsheet...

as always, it's not finished properly, but more time driving myself nuts
infront of a computer is less time in the company of a good pinot noir and a
big fuck off modular synthesiser...

cheers folks

You have Paul syndrome. Please include "http://" before your URLs to make
it easier for some of us to reach the page directly from you email. Thanks
for the links though!

Cheers!

The browser is NOT the problem. It is the email reader. And the additional
of http:// is for people who have problems. If it works fine for you
otherwise, great!

I am on a PC and I use Outlook 98. I have NO IDEA why it doesn't work
otherwise.
Thanks!

Go figure computers. I hate the drivers, conflict, interrupts and all that
stuff that makes us pull our hair out.
