all, on the analog devices website.. found chip # AD9851. outputs a digitized analog sinewave. the cool thing is though that "The device provides 5-bits of digitally-controlled phase modulation which enables phase shifting of its output in increments of 180°, 90°, 45°, 22.5°, 11.25°, and any combination thereof. " Phase control.. now if the thing can generate LFO range waves..... useful I woudl think as a basis for something right? Shepard tones and im sure alot more. output tuning resolution of 40 milli hertz pretty good, no? later, ~Steve
