files section updated

2001-02-08 by vee cee oh

i'm not sure if i have already announced, but i have
uploaded schematics and photos of my DIY
inverter/rectifier.

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/motm/files/

go there. design a pcb layout and build it for
yourself. and email me with questions...if my limited
knowledge can help.

as an aside, i want to say that a year and a half ago,
i knew nada about electronics. i used to look at those
thick electronics supplier catalogs and be like,
'shit! the creative possibilities!!' i had a dream of
being able to read schematics and maybe? someday?
designing my own audio electronics. well that came
true and a lot sooner than i thought.

paul schreiber's excellent kits and documentation and
his patient phone support started it off for me. i am
forever grateful. the amazing free flow of the
internet and webbers on the motm and synth-DIY list
helped me get to the next level, and the next.

i only hope i can return as much as i've been able to
receive. here's a start.

I would prefer if people didn't post schemos, pix to yahoo. Signing in to
look at a schematic or module pic, etc... is bullshit.

Oh, BTW. This type of contribution (and other types) from MOTMers is what I
am offering to permanently host in the MOTM users forum of my web site. I
know many of you have sites. But if you don't and you want a free section
on my site to post stuff like this so people without Yahoo IDs can see it,
just ask. Also,
1 - It free
2 - I don't claim ownership of your property
3 - Cary Roberts was kind enough to provide a mirror so it is now extra
reliable.

AMEN. Mark. Thanks to especially to Paul, also but to all you other guys
that know more than me about it (which is most) If I has a nickel for every
stupid question someone helped me with, well... I have another MOTM-300 and
another Time Machine. :)

Free space for all motm related stuff on my website.

I can either mirror an existing site (harder for me) or make a
public upload section. (easy for me)

I'll do it. You will have your own page. right now I don;t have any way
for you to update it, you have to send it to me. I will see if that is
possible though.
