Mattias, you lucky bastard, getting the tapes of your choice direct from Markus :-)) 1 The Mark II rythm tapes sound fantastic, but to me as someone who has always only played M 400 sounds, it's, well, very strange to listen to complete band recordings on a Mellotron. They sound fantastic, but very much like material for an entainer with a single keyboard, playing music for old couples for the dance. But they sound charming now, over 40 years old. And I am sure you can use them for some inovative stuff, soon. 2 Make some longer clips! Use more light. This time I couldn't hardly seen anything. Nearly like a soundclip only :-( Another idea would be to record the instrument directly via the mixing desk then with the camera microphone. Or is this against an unwritten YouTube law :-) ??? Anyway, thanks very much for proving us with more or less unknown sounds. The Tubular Bells sounds extremly authentic, I think. Has anyone ever used that sound live or in studio?
