Hey, now that I have the Mellotron app on my iPod Touch, I rarely play the
M4000 anymore. ;-)

Hi everyone.

I am selling my beloved Mellotron M400 (Black, 1973, ex Edgar Froese
Serial No. 1134) and thought I'd post here to see if anyone out there would be
interested. I am in Sussex, England.

I've had the tron since 2003 and it's a superb sounding machine. It has
two tape frames with Mk2 Violins, Mk2 Brass, 8 Voice Choir and Mk2 Flute,
Cello and Woodwind. The tapes were replaced when I had the tron serviced in
2004. I also replaced the motor with an SMS2 model.

Edgar Froese's name can be seen on one of the tape frames and the chaps at
Streetly verified that the machine had been sent to Edgar Froese in 1973.

Well, that's it. Please feel free to contact me for photos of the machine
if you're interested in buying it.

Thanks, Lee.
