Shouldn't matter. Might have to spruce up the track selector. That's about  
the only thing that rusts.

If you can store it in a stable  environment without a lot of humidity, 
that would be good. When you do  decide to crank it back up, clean the capstan 
well and go through the  whole machine and check for oxidization. Nip that 
right away. Otherwise, it  should be fine.

Hi all - I'm living in eastern Iowa and we're experiencing  weather that's 
all over the map, coming off a heat wave in July that saw  us in the upper 
'90s a lot.  It's cooler now, but we still having  fairly high humidity, and 
I'm living in an attic without air conditioning.  Because of this, I've 
simply put my tape racks away in boxes and  retired the Tron until the weather 
stabilizes somewhat - hopefully in  September.  Is there anything else I 
should be doing, or am I over  reacting?
