John, All you can do is your best for your kids.....I can relate and find it difficult at times but rewarding.
As they get older they will understand more and appreciate your sacrifice....at least we would hope so.

The best advice I can give you is do just your own thing and completely forget about her.

Don't talk to her, don't talk about her , don't waste another second thinking even about her.

She's truly not worth it.
