Hi Mark,
It sounds like you didn't try to even get close to your Mellotron sound with the M-tron.  I used to use the M-tron
and it sounded much closer to the actual Mellotron than in this comparison.  Were you even attempting to get the
same sound or was that not your intent at the time you recorded these?

Neither of these pieces are great  music but might be of interest in comparing M-tron and and my mellotron. I am not trying to re-ignite the mellotron samples debate, I quite like the sound of both of these pieces they are just different. Sometimes I use samples, sometimes I don't.
