I agree with you Gary....

I don't understand all the bashing of Yes's & the Moodie's earlier recordings on this list.  These groups are a bit pretentious but, so what ?

Thanks to these groups and many others, I got into Henry Cow, Terje Rypdal, Universe Zero, John Coltrane, Billie Holiday, Jackie Mclean, Lester Young, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Bill Evans, Stravinsky, Shostakovich, Part, Luigi Nono, etc......

Below is CTTE, Part 2.  To me, it looks like RW is playing his Hammond organ starting @ 2:54.

Hey Martin, You shouldn’t hate the band that is probably most responsible for the Mellotron being known by the ordinary musician.  
I am sure they influenced many of the sales in the old days.
 
….But that is NOT a Mellotron doing the pipes on CTTE…..it’s a synth live and the real deal on the album.  
I saw it preformed many times.
