Pretty sure Chicago has (or had) one also.
A lifelong friend worked for them in Illinois.
We were messing with lasers in the early 70’s, with smoke for contrast.
Wonderful devices, in my opinion.

In LA, they had a variety of Laserium shows running through the years up at Griffith Observatory. The company that created it was in the San Fernando Valley. Still very trippy cool stuff.

Ahhh, Laserium. Denver had it, too. Wonderful & slightly foggy memories...

I remember this Laserium show like it was yesterday. Larry Fast was in the audience and talked for a few minutes about his Synergy album just released.
Neptune - Holst, Tank - ELP, Legacy - Larry Fast - Synergy, The Blue Danube - Strauss, Timesteps - Clockwork Orange theme - Walter Carlos, Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun - Pink Floyd, Pepper Box - The Peppers, Abaddon's Bolero - ELP, Gimme Shelter - The Stones, Echoes - Pink Floyd, Hoedown - ELP.
